Getting from Antalya Airport to Lara: A Practical Guide

Lara is one of the closest resort areas to Antalya Airport. With its beachfront hotels and easy access to the city centre, it is a popular base for both holidaymakers and business travellers.

The journey between Antalya Airport (AYT) and Lara usually takes around 20-40 minutes depending on traffic. Since the airport sits on the eastern side of the city, the route towards Lara is straightforward and often avoids central city traffic altogether.

You can reach Lara by private transfer, taxi or public transport. With a private transfer, a vehicle waits for you at the terminal exit and takes you directly to your hotel door, which is the most comfortable option for families with luggage.
